In the week leading up to my hand in, my laptop was stolen along with memory cards containing the bulk of my work throughout this year. Unfortunately I was not able to recover a large amount of the images I had taken throughout the semester. Fortunately I was able to reshoot a few of the more solid photos in the extra time I was given. Although not all my work is able to be presented, I feel that my final images are a good representation of the process I had followed and the images I had already taken.

Final Images
- Kiwiana are certain objects or icons that are considered to be special to New Zealand and it's history. I decided to photograph icons such as marmite, fish n' chups and the famous Swanndri because of their well known aesthetics e.g red and blue chequer pattern or greasy white paper for fish and chips. My project looks at some of the more well known icons and portrays them as how they may be used in context as well as in the studio.

Second Studio Shoot
- I wanted to try using colourful backgrounds (instead of the plain black or white) and match the background colour with a particular product and its colours, in this case marmite.
First test with location lighting
- I wanted to experiment with the portable lights however I was cut short from finishing this shoot.
On Location shoot - Masterton
- Although I had used the portable lights in the previous shoot, i was still uncomfortable using them on location. For this shoot I decided to set up under a bridge in Masterton. There was no day light left, but I was able to recreate the overcast lighting effect with one soft box light.Studio Lighting for Industrial design #2
- For this shoot I needed to capture the details of the two objects and portray them in a neutral way. This quickly setup studio used one umbrella reflector light in most of the photos.

Chris Burkhard
- As part of an photographer study, I chose to talk about Chris Burkhard, a 28 year old self-taught photographer from California. Burkhard specialises in landscape photography, mixing in his passion with surfing and the water in general when he can.

Studio Lighting Setup Test
- These photos were taken during a workshop with David, showing us how to setup a basic studio lighting arrangement. The photo below is a larger example of one of the images.
First Solo Studio Shoot
- For this shoot I wanted to give the glass bottle a ultra-clear look but still show the form detail with an outline of the shape. I did not achieve what I wanted but I did learn how to develop on from the basic studio setup.
Industrial Design Photography
- As part of my Industrial design paper, photographs of my final lamp shade needed to be taken. I Set up a very rough studio in the bathroom, using the shower walls as a makeshift reflector.
